Dark and twisty
This is my second audiobook by this author and it did not disappoint. True, there were parts where I suspected the outcome but that didn’t detract from my experience. Recommended.

Interesting
I have very mixed feelings about this book. While it was an interesting read and at times difficult to put down, the plot was quite I difficult to follow. The ending is also a bit strange too.
It seems the insurance investigator, who throughout the story worked diligently to prove that Ana's death was a scam, just decide in the end to let the daughter benefit from the insurance?
It also seems unrealistic that social workers would allow an American child to be sent to live with grandparents in Brazil who were being threatened by criminals.
I gave the book three stars because I enjoyed the read but feel the book is lacking in many respects.

Excellent
Great listen and good story line and plots and twists.
I enjoyed this book very much. It kept me wanting to hear more and it did not disappoint.
The narration was excellent as well. Beautifully done.
