À propos de cet audio
As Gen Z grows into their own, confusion has quickly festered between them and their predecessors, including the positive effects of their potential. It is important to note that the positive effects should be emphasized for Zoomers because they are very open to feedback and mentorship, as well as contributing to improved communications. Frequent, open, and direct conversations with them take the old surface chit-chat in teams to an augmented communications road.
The authors present an excellent case for a new form of collaboration, group cohesion, and growth that remedies organizations’ seasoned employees’ performance, as well as retaining good talent. They state a strong case for how Gen Z creates partnerships and positive legacies. They capture the differences between each generation and how Boomers, Gen-X, and Millennials can all relate to Zoomers by creating legacies and dynamics that benefit everyone as a whole.
It is an enlightening, constructive listen, The Zoomers: Our Next Generational Wave in the Workplace. This topic is needed and very timely, because it provides a clear picture of Gen Z. It adequately reframes and disarms stereotypes about them, as well as pleads the case to move into better organizational behaviors as some generations slowly phase out, some over, and some further inward. It is a valuable addition to my toolbox and resources in my business and leadership coaching and training practice. It makes the culture, communications, and business strategy around generational challenges with our clients easier to influence and improve.
No matter what your experience is, this book can greatly help any business, entrepreneur, community outreach group, or any group looking for insight and understanding of Generation Z. Additionally, it sheds light on areas for consideration in organizational strategy. Scratching your head on what to do with the culture, communication, and action upheaval that your organization has been forced into by Gen Z? This book is perfect for you! It is a great listen for anyone curious to gain insight and suggestions on what to look for, how to manage, and what Zoomers are thinking. The authors do a great job at contrasting the generations, and then, the Zoomers come into the picture and how they affect each other.
