À propos de cet audio
The United States of America is falling before the armies of the dead. Leading the sole survivors of the US Army's 10th Mountain Division out of the overrun city of New York, Captain Phil Hastings heads for the safety of Fort Indiantown Gap, a National Guard training facility deep in the woodlands of Pennsylvania.
Joining with other remnants of the military, government, and civilian communities, Hastings and his men must try to keep the tsunami of corpses from taking over the world and plan the resurrection of the nation.
But first, they have to outlast the ravages of the dead...and the living.

Fighting not to fall asleep, the boring department meeting suddenly turns into a bloodbath when people are drawn to the windows to look up at the sky.

Harry Lee, its commander, decides the only hope for his men is to get there.

Average zombie story but has its own unique takes
I really liked the story and it's unique takes but it's more or less another zombie story. That's just my opinion though. Despite that I really enjoyed the story and characters.

Decent Book
I got this book on sale because I saw RC Bray, and that's enough for me.
a decent zombie book that is more heavily focused on the military aspect of handling things. there is alot of military terminology, and strategy. as well as a military mindset.
the pace of the story is built like there should be much more at the end though. the character development is asking for more story. not sure if they plan on writing a second book in this universe, but there is alot of room for it.

Great Book!
Once again RC Bray does an amazing job on narrating this book! Loved the spin on having an Infantry unit’s perspective of the zombie apocalypse. I was hooked on this book and couldn’t stop listening to it. Great character build up and a crazy spin on the tsunami of zombies! Can’t wait for the second book to he released on audible.

A theses of military operations
if after action reports and combat logs are your thing, you'll have a blast with this book. it is a VERY realistic scenario and story. There are good sparks in the story and characters wise like the stripper and the autistic kid but the author could have made more space for that aspect as we dit her that much attached to the character. but my main complaint is that got tied of all the EXCESSIVE use of military vocabulary. I understand the desire of the author to convey realism in the way military operations are conducted and I'm sure that this is the way it's done but I'm also sure You could reduce the length of this book by 25% just by removing all the "Lakota one one to Apache one two, over... Lakota one one this is Apache one two here, over''.

All Zompoc are not created equal
It was okay. Mostly mindless action. I found myself drifting while I was listening to it. I didn't jump back to listen to what I missed.
Characters were meh. Didn't care too much about them.
RC Bray was it's saving property. Excellent narrator, as always.
