À propos de cet audio
Gary Chapman has helped millions prepare for marriage. Now let him prepare you for kids.
Inside, Gary shares what he wishes he and his wife had known before having kids. For example: Children affect your time, your money, and your marriage - and that's just the beginning. With his trademark warmth, he offers practical advice on everything from potty training, to the importance of apologizing to your child, to keeping your marriage strong, all the while celebrating the great joy that children bring.

Mediocre
It's OK. It's like a conservative religious grandpa telling you pretty obvious stuff about how he brought up his kids. The only true insight that I carried out from this book is the theory about "languages of love". But he has another whole book about it, which was a New Your Times best seller. So you might be better off listening to that and applying it to your kids.

Great insights and wisdom
I thought that this book was great. Before this, Ive read the author's previous book "What I shouldve known before I got married", which I also enjoyed.
My wife and I are about to become parents of our first baby and we both picked up a lot of wisdom that we'll definitely be using as parents.
As the title suggests, this is meant for new parents. If you're already raising children of your own then you probably wont appreciate this book as much; although I think you will still learn a few things from the book .
Lastly, I appreciate the fact that a lot of the values taught here are Christian-based. But I would still recommend it to anyone I know that arent religious.
