As the AI continues its rapid decline, Carl and company take advantage of the chaos. For the first time ever, the crawlers are fighting back. They are now one of the nine teams. And this season, there’s a tenth army on the playing field. The NPCs, who are normally used as nothing but cannon fodder, have become fully self-aware and formed a team of their own.

For Donut and Katia, the stakes are even higher. Only one of them will be allowed to leave this level.

If they all want to survive, they’re going to need a little help from a veteran or two.

Did not disappoint

Progress and turns in this great story. Lots of action, some laughs, a few mysteries solved and some closure. Ends with good setup for what is to come.

You'll not break me - Donut

What a phenomenal story and journey so far. And it looks like we are now moving out of the dungeon more than usual for the last couple of books. Can't wait to see what Matt Dinniman has in store for us. Thanks Matt and thanks Jeff. And thanks to Soundbooth Theater for that hilarious part at the end. ☺️😄

Welcome Crawler, to faction wars.

Holy shit. It's finally time! I've read the book, and I've been counting the seconds for this audio book. It's 10/5 stars. Every second is gripping, every moment is nail biting. You will laugh, you will cry. But by the God's left tit, it's worth it. If you've made it to book 7, you wi not be disappointed. Let's freaking gooo!

Always a party

The story! The narration!

This is my favourite book in the series so it would get five stars from me no matter what. But Jeff Hays' impression of a Canadian is more magical than when I held my newborn child. No disrespect to said child.
