Amazing
Best book in series, definitely recommend. The entire series has been great, but it's been building to this and it did not disappoint

A good conclusion to this trilogy.
This has been one of my favorite series. Everything is excellently done and easy to follow. For anyone starting out on audible or wanting to learn more about the Starwars universe, this trilogy is a great place!

Brilliant!
An excellent addition to the Thrawn storyline. And Mark Thompson remains my favourite narrator with his excellent voices. Bravo!

A Brilliant Conclusion to A Brilliant Trilogy
This third book in the 'Thrawn' trilogy is the strongest. Timothy Zahn exhibits an incredible sense of plot-advance, characterization, and description to explore how Grand Admiral Mitth'raw'nuruodo demonstrates the balance between his allegiance to his Chiss race and his fealty to Emperor Palpatine. In this last installment, the blue-skinned Grand Admiral investigates the loss of freighters involved in Palpatine's secretive Death Star project.. while simultaneously assisting the Chiss Ascendancy in battles against an aggressive species in the Unknown Regions. Thrawn is revealed to be a C. Auguste Dupin-level observer of his environment, a dedicated leader, and a tactical genius - he's a most-interesting character. It may be an overreach (Thrawn is likely better cast as an effective supporting figure - I have to admit I'm a little confused.. *This* is a - quote - "villain"?)), but Zahn clearly strives to cement Thrawn's place as an anchor character in the Star Wars Canon by crafting an incredible story. The author writes believable dialogue, realistic motivations, and well-reasoned action. Pulse-pounding epic space battles alternate with espionage-inspired land encounters and legitimately humourous commentary seemingly without pause. The countless twists and turns in this book kept me entertained from start to finish.
Marc Thompson's reading is back to "incredible" status in this audiobook. His character voices are clear and easily distinguished, emotiveness/tone/timbre/cadence are exemplary, and his pacing is unparalleled. He is obviously one of the best Star Wars performers in the stable.
Furthermore, the producers at Random House Audio use music, sound effects, and background noise accurately and more judiciously than in other productions.. they are spot-on in this one.
When excellent writing is combined with peerless narration and meticulous attention-to-detail, we end up with a 10/10 production. BUY THIS BOOK.

Never ending thrills
This addition to the Star Wars saga I found to be a very good read and the performers that do the reading on the audio did a fabulous job

Quite an upgrade from Alliances
Loved seeing Vanto & space battles again. The Savite battle was particularly entertaining. Great ending for the trilogy. Makes me even more excited for the upcoming Ahsoka series.
