Definately read in chronological order
loved this book but I have been skipping around with this author and listened to the next two books before this one which really ruins a lot of the fun twists and turns I would have appreciated more if listened to this one first. overall great book.

Confusing
I struggled to understand this book. It has nothing to do with TNG. This is a Riker story without it being with much Riker. Far too many species all on one bridge with some of them being mortal enemies. This is by far the worst audio book I've listened too on Star Trek. Made no sense. Doesn't follow any story line. Doesn't add to the Star Trek word.

A lot of promise but no real direction
The author had an amazing premise to work from and then does nothing of interest with it. They introduce too many characters and doesn’t deeply develop any of them to the point where the reader should care about what happens to them.
