Despite the odds being stacked against her, Ana has saved her little sister, and now all that remains is to return home. With her sister safe, Ana goes in search of Wash, determined to help him whether he wants it or not. But the road to Wash is filled with clear and hidden dangers, where good and bad guys aren't so easy to tell apart.

A post-Purge world is no place for a man to travel alone, much less a woman. It's a good thing that Ana is used to being underestimated. But even she will find her resolve tested - and her survival instincts stretched to the max.

Great series, kill this character

I've read every single book in, and have tremendously enjoyed, the Purge series. Some stories are stronger than others, as you'd expect, but I wouldn't have rated any of them lower than 4 stars. The antagonists (ghouls) provide a nice break from the typical zombies, and an interesting new twist is introduced in Tokens. The only problem is the lead character. I don't think you're supposed to root for the central character to be killed off, but she's so annoying you hope until the last chapter that she'll meet a painful demise. So, five stars for all the Purge adventures as a whole, but I'd be happy if this character took a long walk off a short pier into a sea of blue-eyed ghouls.
