Ce que les critiques en disent

“In many ways, Too Dumb for Democracy? is an ambitious plunge into neuroscience, politics, fake news, and how all of it can affect critical decision making at the ballot box.” — May Elizabeth, Literary Review of Canada

“Anyone keen to understand the threat to democracy and wanting to consider some important steps to creating a more inclusive society will find much food for thought in David Moscrop’s incisive primer.” — The Hill Times

“Moscrop is one of those most marvelous and rare things, a brilliant scholar who can synthesize history, politics, and science and explain them in a way that doesn't make the reader feel like they're being forced to do homework. You'll have a much better understanding of what's going on around you, and how to be part of the solution to the big issues facing all of us today.” — Mark Bourrie, author of Kill the Messengers

Im going to think about this book every time I enter the voting booth

This book is intellectually stimulating and tackles intricate concepts with a touch of humour - i recommend listening to the audio version along with the book, it makes it entertaining as well as interesting !

Moscrop's insightful exploration of the challenges democracy faces in our modern world is both enlightening and thought-provoking.

This book made me both fearful and hopeful for the future of our democracy , and how it isn't a straightforward, foolproof system. The book highlights its fragility and complexity, urging us to approach its mechanisms with a critical eye. He encourages us to ponder questions like "Are we truly informed voters?" and "Do we have the capacity to make sound decisions for our society?"

I’m going to think about this book for a long time after I’ve finished it ( that means it was really good :)
