À propos de cet audio
The day I truly started to live, I sentenced him to die.
At 24, I'd resigned myself to a simple life following in my mother's footsteps. I would manage the antique shop she left me and marry a kind, stable man. Most importantly, I would never tell a soul about my psychic abilities.
But with a single, intentional touch and a vision of the past, I set events in motion that expose my secret. I'm part of a world I never knew existed, and my new allies are dismantling my carefully constructed walls.
Except, those walls had a purpose - they kept me hidden.
Now, my abilities make me a target. And my mere existence is endangering everyone I care about.
My name is Adele Rose, and I know nothing but regret.
Contains mature themes.

Had so much potential!
Rarely do I ever not finish a book because I hate not knowing the ending, but I truly could not get though this. It reads like a fanfic so if you’re into that, then maybe this is up your alley??

So bad I couldn't finish..
Gah, why must authors make the lead female so dumb and like an innocent twelve-fourteen-year-old with absolutely no common sense? I almost immediately wanted to stop listening to this book. Who the he** j-walks without actually looking? Oh, yes, a stupid kid walks across the street without looking, but a 24-year-old girl? eye roll.
The narrator wasn't the best. She kept making unnecessarily long pauses, and I wasn't sure if she was doing it for dramatic purposes or if she thought that was how it should be read... either way it sounded disjointed.
I skipped from chapter 4 to chapter 24 and immediately I was just as disappointed. This book tried too hard and the attempt at sarcasm or humour failed.
