As usual, he must fend for himself as he tries to clear his name and keep a clever killer in prison.
The two cases wind around each other like strands of barbed wire. Along the way, Bosch discovers that there are two kinds of truth: The kind that sets you free and the kind that leaves you buried in darkness.

Great Story
This was my first crime novel that I experienced. I was immediately blown away and completely immersed in the story. Titus does a fantastic job bringing the story and the characters to life. I look forward to checking out Connelly's other novels.

Typical "Bosch" Story with Engaging Narration
I have read and listened to a couple of Bosch stories and have enjoyed the narration and the story. I'll most likely listen again.

Solid Bosch story
Solid storyline. Definitely well within the formula, but has enough wrinkles to make it interesting for those who've read all the Bosch stuff. Would have liked the Russian sub plot to be a little deeper, and the guy out the plane was never explained.

Fast paced, exciting and informative
The story was very well written & I learned a lot about the opioid drug problem in the US (& likely Canada). It was fast paced and descriptive and while hard to read about the underbelly of our cultures, it was a great read. The narrator was awesome and I look forward to more novels in this series and with this narrator.

Great Narrator
Titus Welliver encompasses the character of Bosch. When I started watching the TV series I wasn’t sure I’d like him as Bosch....but I quickly lay changed my mind. Perfect for the series role and as the narrator.

Another Bosch story from M. Connelly
Michael Connelly continues to put out stories that interests the reader/listener from beginning to end. This is one of those stories. The narration by Titus Welliver does justice to all characters, especially Bosch.
