Amazing

Slow to start
Glad I finished the book but it was slow to start. I couldn’t imagine why the characters were putting up with what was going on!

Just ugly crying over here
I hated the music peppered throughout the audio book.
That being said, typical Nicholas Sparks book, romance, turmoil, ugly crying, happy ending, all things I like in a book. I found myself bored in parts, and then needing more in others. Premise was good, but not as developed as I’ve seen him do before, so I wasn’t as invested as a reader.

A little slow
If I were to have read this book, I would not have finished. Even as I listen to the first 3 chapters, I found it hard to really get into it. It was the amazing voice work of the narrator that kept me going. I found it quite comical as he voiced out other characters , along with different accents.
by the half way mark , I was fully vested in the story and was crying by the end.

Lots of emotions!
I definitely loved the book. I found myself being frustrated, cried and laughed throughout the storyline. I’m a big fan of Nicholas Sparks work. The Narrator did an amazing job. Unfortunately I was not a fan of the music. It threw me off while listening to the story.
