the story is quite entertaining, but there were some issues. I found often that the author tends to leave out details in scenes. for example not saying that Jade retrieves Excalibur at one point, she just has it again, or mentions of her crushing a rock in her hands when I'm pretty sure she was on a ship or station. small things really, but still odd. a problem that really frustrated me was the hydra's inner voices in the audiobook were very difficult to hear since they were so quiet, and I found inconsistencies common in the reverb added to the hydra's as well as to the ones above the hydras, (can't remember what they are called. those issues aside, still was a great read.
