À propos de cet audio
America After AI
A.I. is everywhere. Except where it's not.
Not too far from today, chipped humans have accumulated power and control of all but a few safe zones in 'Merica. The unchipped don't fit in—by choice. Getting chipped is easy; getting free is hard.
As her parents and brother fight in the unnamed revolution, Prolly scavenges for things she can sell or eat. When the opening to the West Ginny mine she's searching caves in, Prolly contemplates the end. It seems her family's God might have forgotten her, or maybe He doesn't care about people who don't follow Him.
Muffled groans deeper in the mine and a faint squeal lead to the discovery of a small, thirteen year-old girl, already a woman by new world standards. But Lilly holds a secret and desperately needs to escape to Sanctuary. Escape, or die. Can Prolly rescue Lilly from this mine and get to Sanctuary before the revolution locks them behind enemy lines?
Prolly has longed for adventure, but this is more. This is danger and distance. Away from her circle and into the unknown. And the chippers will stop at nothing to recapture Lilly.
Is Prolly really ready? Can she save this girl that she has adopted as a sister?
