Understanding WorldView

This is a book of ideas—possibly different and unusual ideas—that are often anti-intuitive, politically incorrect and

Hörsch argues that the prevailing worldview that humans are special on Earth and in the Universe, is comically prejudiced and hopelessly wrong. He suggests that humans exist not because of, but in spite of, their complex brains and that, far from being a masterpiece of the evolutionary process, the human brain is a mistake, an unfortunate mutation, a handicap to survival and a fundamentally unintelligent device poorly suited and unable to cope with modern requirements for complicated decision making and thought.
