Simple, truthful, convicting
I really enjoyed the breakdowns in each chapter, the real/personal stories and practical/spiritual guidance. The book was convicting in a gentle manner and was a wonderful read.

Life changer.
This book is one of those books that completely changes your outlook. I purchased the physical book after listening too, because I wanted to be able to really sink it into my soul. I’d recommend this book to any woman, young and old.

Slow down
narration was way too fast. had to listen at .90 and even that was too fast. Good message, very challenging and encouraging.

so much truth!
I loved everything about this book. Lysa is honest and speaking from experience. I found her very relatable and loved the "me too" approach vs. the usual "I conquered this & here's what you need to do". she understands it's an ongoing process and journey with the Lord. I also really enjoyed the narrator!! I usually only order books narrated by author but I thought this was Lysa so I had ordered it lol. Highly recommend this book for anyone who has a hard time with rejection.

excellent book
will be using her style in my thought processing and the way I respond to life experiencing. This has certainly helped break the chains of past exoeriences and I am beginning to understand more clearly that I dont have to allow them to define who I am today. I loved the authors mix of humour, and seriousness and honesty.
