The story was amazing. The writing was fantastic. The only complaint is if listening not also reading the books, the immense amount of characters might be too much for you.

I have long been a fan of the books - and have read and re-read several times. The audio book is excellent. It brings new dimensions to the story. The research is impeccable. I will be listening to all of her audio books and hope they keep producing her previous books. Here Be Dragons would be welcome!

Master Storyteller of Historical Fiction

While I enjoyed this storyline and the narrator, I found the overuse of certain words like, "forcerties" (sic) incredibly annoying. To the point that it became like nails on a chalkboard for me. I can think of no other book that had this effect on me. Perhaps this is just me, and onen of my many quirks but, it was a true annoyance.
