Good, But Not Great
I had three problems with the book
1. Destination Before Journey
Sanderson knew how he wanted the book to end, and so he forced it through unnatural and illogical story choices
2. The Checklist
It was clear Sanderson had a checklist of political points he wanted to get across, so he shoehorned them in one by one. They did not feel as though they were organically part of the story
3. Bloat
The novel was longer than it needed to be. There are large periods where not much happens, and I felt I was simply waiting to return to more interesting storylines

Best of Stormlight so far
Half way there and ... satisfying payoffs to a lot of the arcs. It's huge obviously but the pace just doesn't let up. Clever opponents and flawed characters on all sides. But everybody's actions make sense.
Few of the main players land in a good place, but there's plenty of time yet.

Of course this book is another wonderful escape to the Cosmere. There’s only one problem… I would have loved a longer book, this one is waaay too short! When is the next one out? Next year?

They Just Get Better and Better.
It is difficult to put into words the emotional roller-coaster this novel brought me through. Each time you think you have a semblance of what will happen it is overturned on you in exactly the right way. Brandon is an expert at subverting expectations and this story continues that. After completing the book I want desperately to forget it and start again to feel the utter shock, joy, despair, and everything in between during the wild ride. Thank you Brandon for this absolute work of art.

A fitting end to the story and character arcs
This one started slow but once it got going, I enjoyed every storyline thoroughly. And, as always, Sanderson found intelligent ways to weave things together in a way that was hard to predict, but made perfect sense in the end. I'm curious to see where he goes with the second half of the series but the first half is definitely near the top of my fantasy recommendations now that it's complete!

It’s good
This book is a good dark midpoint for the stormlight archive.
I know some people are weird and upset for silly reasons but please ignore those.

Good book, Kate reading is unbearable
Good book. Only way I could listen to this is to put the Kate Reading parts up to 1.5 speed. She makes every character annoying
