Great book but...

I enjoyed this book. I'm really enjoying this series as a whole with an MC who isn't a complete idiot for once. The comments saying that he makes too many mistakes, are just asking for an MC that is a robot.

The only thing that detracts from the story is the needlessly drawn out horse joke. It wasn't funny.
