don't hesitate
The story is really good, strong and sweet. filled with emotions, confusion, thoughts and understanding. its a great book about two human beings connecting in levels beyond this world, daring to cross the line together, supporting their partners, and their baggage.

Heartbreakingly and hearthealingly beautiful
This story is truly one of my favourites in the LGBTQ++ genre. Marley’s ability to skillfully develop a beautiful meaningful story, and multifaceted characters who are both flawed and loveable, coupled with the extraordinary story telling from Tim and Teddy (both at the top of my list of audio-performers), transported me out of my everyday life and into the deep meaningful love between these beautiful men. This is the book I recommend to anyone who is interested in queer love. I love love love this book.

You can't choose who you love.
I love everything about this story. Is kind of a forbidden MM romance but, these two were made for each other. It made my heart full watching these two find and heal each other throughout the story. I just wish Deacon's mother wasn't so stubborn. Please read this. It's a beautiful story to read. I honestly picked this because I love Teddy Hamilton's narration. Tim is new to me but he did a fantastic read.

Beautifully narrated

Read it!!
Absolutely loved this story. This is the first MM book I've read/listened to and I was not disappointed. I love their love. Such a great story.

Deep and cute

Fantastic story!
Love this book! Great story and narration! I especially liked that te story wasn't a "all wrapped up in a neat bow" type. There were real challenges and character development for both the main characters.

What love truly means! What love really is that most people realise on the core.
Of course, the book being read by two of my most favourite narrator made this book into a dream that it is. Like film that it deserves to be.
Teddy Hamilton and Tim Page quite a couple of narrator like no other. I find myself often immersive to the amazing story always for get there's only one narrator per chapter. There's so incredibly freaking good.
I'm extremely impressed on flow and the narrative of the book.
It's has a true wise meaning behind the narrative on what love truly is. I learned from a psychiatrist how what love is that many often misunderstand.
Like some says that it's best if we falling in love with a person who is our best friend. Although one can be in love with their best friend. It's not a requirement and it's definitely not the best way to make both person to fall in love with each other.
Maybe that's why there are lot of people getting "friend zoned," because they treat the other person as a friend to care for. Comfort them and having shoulder of lean on when time get hard. However love is a bit more different than that.
Falling in love with a person means *both* person must be in the same emotional wavelength with each other.
Falling in love together doesn't mean that one's comforting the other. Like swimmer driving a boat to save the drowning. No that's best friends does. That's results only one person falling in love, not both.
To falling in love together, both person must be drowning together but holding each other, swimming together but guiding one another to float together, both getting lost but checking on each other, plunging together at the same time, driving the boat together and trust one another...
Love is not only about giving, sharing emotions.
At it's core, It's about *feeling* emotions with each other *together.*
It's an ultimately fusion of two souls of empathy, not sympathy.
Two guys feeling each others same emotions together despite their unfamiliarity.
Like two souls drowning in emotions but despite that they hold together like they're each others own boat to keep themselves afloat paradoxically. It's not despite of that make themselves swim together but it's because of it. Like two souls of different mind and body, but fused together that the heart. Like " the universe them made for each other." But no, they made themselves for each other.
This book perfectly encapsulate that meaning, the meaning of true love. A story that truly moved my heart in all of possible ways I didn't expect in one book.

Beautiful story
This was an incredible listen because I love teddy Hamilton but was all such an unexpected beautiful story ! Everything about this book is a 10/10 for me, a must listen !!
