This started out great with lots of promise and his love and devotion to her despite the reason for their marriage was swoon-worthy.

Then she went all typical tragic female on him, insisting on a break and turning him away. Wtaf. Not only was he now her husband but also her best friend.

There was a solid THREE mins of her detailing her “get ready” routine. SPARE ME.

Sigh. Disappointed.
Loved these narrators as usual. Saving grace.

The last hour and half was horrific. A break?!

This is my first Layla Hagen book. The story kept me invested through out. It's a best friends turned lovers/ marriage of convenience trope so I couldn't be more happy!
Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden did this dual POV very well! I would definitely recommend!
