  • When thinking about refugees, we tend to forget that - like us - they have ambitions, celebrations, hopes, love stories, and histories. Building upon that premise, this podcast began as a student initiative aiming to enhance storytelling skills among the Palestinian refugee community of Beirut's Burj al Barajneh camp. The following episodes are the result of four storytelling workshops conducted during June / July 2022, at the Naqab Youth Center in Burj al Barajneh. In this podcast, the storytellers of the camp will take you on a journey through their lives. Despite the diverse challenges faced by Palestinians in Lebanon on a daily basis, the people of Burj al Barajneh make life happen. #storiesfromthecamp
