  • Warner Bros. Discovery is developing a new Harry Potter television series for HBO Max, a faithful adaptation of J.K. Rowling's books spanning ten years. Francesca Gardiner (Succession) will serve as showrunner, with Mark Mylod directing, and a team including Laura Neal (Killing Eve) contributing to the writing. Casting for the main child roles is underway, with Framestore potentially returning for visual effects. While J.K.
