  • It’s easy to look around you and compare yourself to others – to want a seat at the cool kids table. Shawna admits that she compares herself with the person she thinks she should be. God’s helping her to see that she already has a seat at the table with and in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6)

    Perry shares, “On Sunday I didn’t feel like getting up for church, lifting my hands in worship, going to visit a hurting friend, but I chose to.” It’s a conversation about not just speaking the gospel but living it. But it’s not about try harder religion; it’s about the power to live what we speak.

    The story of our lives is heading toward that great day when “All the sad things come untrue.” Perry got a glimpse of that on Sunday as he watched 3 Malaysian Jesus followers worship Jesus.

    What was your first thought this morning? Was it excitement? Dread? Was it angsty? Whatever this day holds you can be excited about the day because you are seen, known and loved by the God of the universe who keeps all of His promises!
