Born and raised in Toronto, Wave Montega had a penchant for poetry as a child, but it wasn’t until he was in university, that he started pursuing a career in music. Two years on from that moment and his debut project 'Still Wavy', the Malton native has become one of Toronto’s most exciting new lyricists.

The fast-rising Jamaican Canadian rap artist sat down with us on the latest episode of our 'Behind The Music' podcast to talk about his recently released sophomore project 'Catharsis', the inspiration behind the album, and the themes he is exploring throughout the record.
