In this episode I get a chance to talk to a former colleague of mine, Nick Valente, about how he has become such an inspirational math teacher in such a short period of time. Nick got is M.A. and B.A. in mathematics from Stony Brook University. Nick has given a TED talk about math, worked at Mathnasium, and has thought more deeply about math education than anyone I know. He gives insights on how we can inspire every child to build a love for mathematics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rFlXen0SKgQ (Polytopia TED Talk) https://www.mathnasium.com/ (https://www.mathnasium.com/) https://www.mathsisfun.com/games/towerofhanoi.html (https://www.mathsisfun.com/games/towerofhanoi.html) https://www.amazon.com/Puzzle-Universe-History-Mathematics-Puzzles/dp/1770854754 (The Puzzle Universe) If you would like more information about our mission please go to https://www.impactconnections.org/ (https://www.impactconnections.org/)
