  • A young man works at a factory, where he is taught the importance of hard work and skill development by his mentor, an old technician. The young man follows these principles and becomes a technician himself, dedicating himself to his job with diligence. Despite his good work, he feels unappreciated and overlooked as others with less experience and skill get promoted. His mentor advises him to take a day off, and when he returns, the manager promotes him to a senior technician. The young man continues to take a day off whenever he feels undervalued, but eventually, he is terminated from his job. His mentor explains that while it's important to not be taken for granted, it's also important to find balance in life and not be unreliable. The story teaches the balance of being grateful and not taking things for granted, while also working hard and being reliable.
