Chennault thinks the people responsible for Ortega's death were familiar with the area and didn't plan on his body being visible from the roadway after dumping him. He said it's clear Ortega suffered greatly.

“It’s just been such a tragedy that it has not been solved, and there is a whole community of people who grieve her and miss her. It just can’t sit idle. Her mother is gone, her father is gone, her brother is gone, and her sister is gone,” said Autry.

A good Samaritan in the wrong place at the wrong time lost his life.

It's been 21 years since the death of Darrel Douglas and so far, there haven't been any arrests.

“It’s been 24 years, 24 whole years where there’s not been any type of closure and it’s just like an open wound to the family,” said Gaskin’s stepsister, Monica Galchik.

In June of 2008, Tulsa police believe that David Lee Benson stabbed and killed Mark Grace after he tried breaking up a fight.

Although there is evidence against Benson, the family still has not seen a conviction.

It’s a case that goes back to April of 2008.

At the time, Frederick Wilson lived at home with his girlfriend. While they watched television, Wilson’s girlfriend said, two masked men stormed their way into the house and zip tied them and put them on the ground.

Investigators with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office said the men begin to search the house for anything valuable. At one point, someone shot Wilson in the back of the head and the two suspects left the house.

Tulsa police said Sheila Sharp left her home in 2006.

It happened on Valentine’s Day. Her family left in tears on what should have been a night filled with joy and love. Sharp never came home.

Her family filed a missing persons report desperate to find her. Fast forward to October 2011 and her family and police learned what happened to her.

No one's seen David Michael Jackson since 2009.

He walked in a neighborhood in east Tulsa on Oct. 31 the last time anyone saw him. Investigators don't even have a photo of him.
