Hearing, both physically and spiritually, is a profound gift from God, designed to help us discern what is true and lasting. We dive into Proverbs 20:11-13, where the writer reminds us that our ears and eyes are gifts from the Lord. These gifts are not requirements but tools God has graciously given us to perceive His truth and develop discernment. Discernment—Holy Spirit-guided perception—utilizes all our senses, enabling us to judge well and receive spiritual guidance. Jesus emphasizes the importance of hearing in John 10:27, saying, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." To truly know God and walk in His will, we must learn to recognize His voice in all things. Building this connection requires an understanding of God's character, His love language, and His unique way of leading His children. In this episode, we also explore how discernment protects us from deception, as Jesus warns in Matthew 24:23-28. False prophets may arise, but those who know and trust the Holy Spirit will always be shielded from lies. Finally, we turn to John 4:24, where Jesus tells us, "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." Just as God provided manna—fresh bread from heaven—daily for the Israelites (Exodus 16), His Spirit feeds us fresh spiritual nourishment every day through His Rhema Word. As a young girl, I didn’t understand the significance of my dreams and often felt afraid, but over the years, God has revealed their purpose and meaning through His Holy Spirit. Building on Days 6 and 7, where we discussed the Logos Word (the written, foundational Word of God) and the Rhema Word (the timely, spoken Word from God), today we dive into dreams as a spiritual form of communication. Scripture tells us that God speaks to us in dreams, revealing hidden mysteries, guiding us in our purpose, and even providing divine warnings. We’ll explore powerful biblical examples like Numbers 12:6, Job 33:14-15, and Genesis 40:8, uncovering how dreams serve as another way to recognize the voice of God in your life. You’ll also learn practical steps to document your dreams and seek interpretation through the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and is the ultimate interpreter of God’s messages. Get ready for an engaging lesson packed with personal stories, scripture insights, and actionable steps to grow in your faith. By the end of this episode, you’ll be equipped to receive and steward the dreams God gives you—turning them into tools for understanding His will and drawing closer to Him.
