26. Daniele Bolleli: Kindness, an Act of Heroism

  • Résumé

  • I sit down with Daniele Bolleli to discuss the human propensity toward darkness and chaos but to instead shine a light on all that is beautiful and heroic within us, despite the cards stacked against us. We explore the difference between “true evil” versus mere frustration and fear built up and then projected outward, and whether or not “evil” people actually know they are evil or if perhaps they think their evil deeds are rather virtuous. We then dive into how a lapse in stress management and overwhelm may cloud our character permanently should we choose not to learn from our mistakes. And then move onto the very important distinction between self-examination, self-condemnation, and refusal to acknowledge our errors at all.
