  • Sri Parasurameswaraswamy Temple, a 2600-year-old Hindu temple in Andhra Pradesh, India, houses Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva Purusha in Yaksha, Parasurama, and Linga avatars. The temple's sanctum sanctorum and gopuram, built in Shivalingam and Gajapushti shapes, are a major attraction for thousands of devotees. The temple is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India since 1954 and is a fine example of early Dravidian architecture. The Gudimallam Parashurameswara Temple, also known as Parasurama Temple, was built in the 2nd century BC and features a symbolic lingam of Lord Shiva, believed to bring divine blessings.
