    One small moment can have a huge impact on the whole of the lives of, not only the survivor but those around them.

    Some side effects will never go away, and no matter how much a survivor fights them, they will have to understand that they need to adapt to live with them. Of course, this goes for family members and friends too.

    If you can first, find ways of understanding the affects, it becomes easier to accept them and put a plan in place on how to move forward.
