    Original show notes: For all the things to love about winter, most of us still seem excited for the season to end. However, winter has a funny, heartwarming way of bringing out the best in some of us. Maybe it’s the holidays. Or, perhaps the bitter cold forces us to be more deliberate about being good. Either way, some of the best stories grow straight from the frozen beds of the winter season.  We’ve hand-selected a few of these winter stories for you today.
