    This guest is a proud graduate of Bishop Grimes Jr./Sr. High School, he continued his education at the State University of NY at Fredonia and earned his Master’s from the United States Sports Academy. He began his journey in baseball in 1993 with the Watertown Indians, leading to roles in Batavia, Staten Island, and Auburn. After a decade away from the sport working with Hilti, Inc., he made a triumphant return to baseball in 2013 with the Syracuse Chiefs. He has been the General Manager of the Syracuse Mets since 2014, where he combines his passion for baseball with a deep-rooted love for his hometown.

She’s a former executive at Walt Disney Studios, and her writing has been featured in magazines, newspapers, and on television. Raised on a farm in Oregon with her three siblings, a horse named Jim, and a barn cat named Peanut Butter, she brings a unique perspective to everything she does. After attending the University of San Francisco, she went on to work as a television writer/producer and publicist in San Francisco.

    It was during the publicity tour for Whitney Wins Everything, part of her children's book series Tiny Najias, that she was inspired to launch her award-winning podcast, Sports Will Save Us All. On the podcast, she shares captivating stories about the unifying power of sports and the profound impact they have on our lives.

    Head Volleyball Coach SUNY Cortland- Erin Glickert


    Erin began her athletic career as a standout player in high school, winning two New York State titles and earning the 2008 Gatorade New York State Player of the Year award. Following this success, she played for Syracuse University from 2008 to 2011, where she contributed to the team’s with three trips to the BIG EAST Tournament, and earned recognition on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team five times.


    After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in advertising in 2012, she took her skills overseas, playing professionally in Finland and helping her team secure a bronze medal. From 2013 to 2018, she served on the coaching staff at Syracuse, including three seasons as the associate head coach. During her tenure, she helped the Orange achieve their first-ever NCAA tournament appearance in 2018.


    In 2019, she took the helm as head coach for the Cortland Red Dragons. Entering her sixth season in 2024, she has a remarkable record of 99-25 (.798) over four seasons. Under her leadership, the Red Dragons have claimed three SUNYAC tournament and regular-season titles and made three NCAA Division III tournament appearances. Her coaching excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including SUNYAC Coach of the Year honors in 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as the AVCA Region 3 Coach of the Year award in 2021. Notably, in 2021, she led her team to a 27-4 record, capturing both the SUNYAC regular-season and tournament titles while advancing to the NCAA second round. This success continued with her teams finishing 22-6 in 2022 and 26-4 in 2023, each time winning conference titles and making NCAA tournament runs.

Hailing from Syracuse, our guest has been a cornerstone of WSYR-TV9, the local ABC affiliate, since 1999. He stepped into the role of sports director in 2003, shaping how the community engages with sports. Starting out as the weekend sports anchor, he made a name for himself after a notable stint in Binghamton, New York. He’s the driving force behind Channel 9’s in-depth coverage of Syracuse University Athletics and has also led the award-winning high school sports program, "Friday Night Fever." If you’re a fan of the Orange, you know his weekly show, "Orange Nation," is a must-watch during the SU football and basketball seasons. And let’s not forget his role on local ESPN radio, where he brings you the radio version of "Orange Nation" every weekday. Beyond his broadcasting achievements, our guest is dedicated to giving back to the community. He’s a board member for It’s About Childhood and Family, Inc., an organization focused on mental health services for children and families. His past involvement with the board of directors for Toomey Residential and Community Services, the Syracuse Sports Corporation, and his work with various telethons highlight his commitment to making a difference.     Todays Guest: 5Tips & Tricks: Director of College Partnerships Legends- Sierra Kehn Today’s guest brings a wealth of experience from a diverse career in communications, marketing, and community relations. She began her journey with a BA in Applied Communication from Kent State University in 2011, where she was an active member of the Kent State Communication Society and the American Marketing Association. Prior to that, she completed her studies in Journalism and Media Studies at San Diego State University. After graduation, she gained hands-on experience as a Writer/Reporter at NBC 7 San Diego. She then took on roles with the Akron Aeros and Akron RubberDucks, handling everything from suite and picnic coordination to community relations. In 2015, she joined Jack Morton Worldwide, where she managed $1.5 million in experiential marketing programs and helped establish the Chevrolet Brand Ambassador program. This was followed by a strategic role at the Albany Business Review, where she led advertising efforts and managed multi-platform marketing solutions. From 2019 to 2023, she served as the Director of Marketing at The Ohio State University Alumni Association, deepening alumni relationships and creating engaging content. Currently, she is the Director of Collegiate Partnerships at Legends, leveraging her expertise in digital marketing and negotiation.     Washington National Assistant Manager for Event Operations- Drew Hurley

    Drew Hurley's career trajectory has taken him through a diverse range of roles in sports operations and venue management. Our guest began his journey in sports with the Syracuse University Athletics program. Starting as a Men's Basketball Intern in September 2017, he supported the coaching staff and helped plan and execute various events. He then transitioned to the role of Facilities and Event Operations Assistant in May 2019, where he gained extensive experience in game administration for a range of sports, facility maintenance, and event planning. In August 2020, he took on the role of Game Operations and Events Intern. Here, he played a crucial role in event setup and breakdown, and oversaw credentialing systems during the COVID-19 pandemic.Following this, he moved to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas as a Conversion Technician in July 2021. His responsibilities included converting the stadium layout for various events, coordinating with multiple departments, and troubleshooting operational issues to ensure a safe and successful event environment.In October 2021, he joined the Washington Nationals as a Coordinator in Security before being promoted to Coordinator of Security and Venue Systems in September 2023. In this role, he oversees security operations and venue systems, ensuring a secure and efficient environment for all events.

    Dave Meluni's career in the sports industry spans over two decades. He began his journey with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Management from Ithaca College, where he not only excelled academically but also shined as a captain for the Bombers' baseball team. In 1999, he took part in the prestigious NCAA Leadership Conference, marking the start of an impressive career. He went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Sport Administration from Florida State University, where he served as a Graduate Assistant in the Seminoles' ticket office and later worked as a Marketing Assistant. Professionally, he spent a decade with IMG College, managing a substantial client base valued at over $1.1 million annually. He then transitioned to SIDEARM Sports as Vice President of Sales, where he negotiated significant agreements with institutions like the University of Texas and the Heisman Organization. Before joining the Falk School Sport Management faculty full-time in 2018, he was an adjunct professor for four years. His extensive experience also includes roles as Vice President of Sales and Business Development at 805 Stats and Infinity Sports and Entertainment. In recent years, he has become a leading authority on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL), a field that’s reshaping the landscape of college sports. With his deep expertise in both traditional sports management and the innovative NIL space, our guest brings a wealth of knowledge and insight.
