  • On this week’s episode we dive into the “why” of travel content creation with Michelle Bird, an artist living in the small town of Borgarnes. At an early age, she wanted to explore the world to see how other cultures, for lack of a better term, “did life”. She started by purchasing a one-way ticket to the Netherlands and hasn’t looked back since. During our conversation she also tells several stories from her year in India, and how the poverty and culture shock she experienced there made a huge impact on her life. She also shares about her sailing trip to Hornstrandir, a large peninsula in the northwest of Iceland accessible only by hiking or boat - or small airplane. She talked about her upcoming sail to Greenland which was going to be this summer, but unfortunately it had to be postponed until 2022.
