  • We have little information about the childhood of Jesus after he and his parents escaped to Egypt. Here are some details about that time and those places that may help. While we use the incident in the temple at age twelve, and the wedding in Cana for insight into these years, we will not make use of extra-biblical writings. While popular and interesting, we are skeptical of Ann Rice’s novels since they draw upon sources outside of the Bible.
