    Usman Khawaja is pleased to be back in form, scoring an unbeaten century on day one of the first Test against Sri Lanka in Galle. He and Steve Smith helped Australia reach 2 for 330, with Khawaja ending a 19-month Test century drought.

    Amid speculation over his future at Tottenham, Aussie manager Ange Postecoglou remains confident. Spurs are struggling in the Premier League but are still in the League Cup, FA Cup, and Europa League.

    Sydney will host the Rugby World Cup final in 2027, with matches also held in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Newcastle, and Townsville.
