  • George Orson Welles is the author of the most influential radio broadcast ever produced: the War of the Worlds. He is also a man whose life and works have defined a generation. Citizen Kane, often regarded as one of the greatest movies of all time, and a movie I had to study in multiple times in college, is one of Welles’ most influential works. But before we can talk about the man Welles’ would become, we need to talk about how he started. Every great hero has an origin, and Welles’ is no different.
