  • Influenced by one of our late fellow batchmates to become a lawyer, Ellen decided to fulfill her mother’s wish for her instead out of respect. Although short lived, she found her career as an obstetrician to be rewarding, witnessing the joy of birth first hand. It was that same joy that perhaps helped her decide to take on the role of a mother full time, leaving her post in medicine after only seven years. Parenthood didn’t come easy, however, for Ellen when she found herself alone with her young twins entering their formative years.
