  • EPISODE 123: LOUISE ATKINSON
    Jul 6 2024

In this episode, I talk to the wonderful comedian, LOUISE ATKINSON.

Hailing from Hull, Atkinson has performed at many comedy nights on the UK circuit and is wonderfully affable and confident on stage. Her themes are extremely relatable, and she delivers exceptionally funny observations on life.

I first saw Atkinson on stage as a finalist in the Amused Moose National New Comic Final at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2018. The deserved winner was Maisie Adam, yet Atkinson showed great promise, and I watched her again as a guest act for Birdies Comedy showcase in 2018 and then for Tickled Pink Supporting Women in Comedy at 21 Soho in in 2022. In 2023, I saw her brilliant debut solo show Mates at the Vaults Festival and in 2024, a work-in-progress of her new show, She Got the Look, at the Hastings Comedy Festival.
