A conversation with a Gazan who lost family in the war

  • Résumé

  • This week, Jake talks to Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib, a Palestinian-American writer and peace activist. In 2001, Ahmed was caught up in an Israeli airstrike as a child in 2001, where he lost three of his friends. In the current war in Gaza, he has also tragically lost family and friends. During this conversation, the pair discuss possibilities for peace in the region.
