  • Every year in Japan, thousands of people disappear voluntarily to start a new life. 'Johatsu' means to evaporate or evaporating. Berlin-based filmmakers Andreas Hartmann and Arata mori made a documentary together to explore the phenomenon of “evaporating people" in Japan. - 日本で行方が分からなくなる人は年間約９万人（2023年）。その中には自発的に行方をくらまし、人生の再スタートを切る蒸発者も多くいます。その蒸発を追ったドキュメンタリーが、日本では上映しないことを条件に完成しました。今週からシドニーの映画祭で上映されます。
