    We also explore some of the social, environmental and economic benefits of waste pickers in society, and Maditlhare shares some of the waste pickers' demands at the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee to develop an international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution in Punta del Este, Uruguay, last year.
