  • KCBS, in partnership with UCSF Health, presents As Prescribed, a weekly conversation with leading medical experts from UCSF Medical center and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. Asian Americans experience disproportionately high rates of hepatitis B infection, a leading risk factor for cirrhosis and liver cancer. UCSF has now launched the Asian Liver Health Center to help provide care. For more KCBS Radio news anchor Steve Scott spoke with Dr. Elizabeth Zheng, co-director of the UCSF Asian Liver Health Center.
