  • In this episode of the Bodega Baseball podcast, we discuss the fascinating 3-way tie in the American League wild card race.  As of this recording, the two wild card spots belong to 3 teams all in the AL East!  The New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Redsox are battling for a chance to go to the playoffs.  With the Tampa Bay Rays in first place, it's sad to think that 2 of the 3 teams won't even play in the divisional round.  In other news, Max Scherzer is arguably the greatest pitcher of this generation, eyeing his 4th Cy Young award and achieving the 3000 strikeouts milestone.
