So the fall semester is my hardest one yet in some ways because I had to stack all my classes onto two days so I could open up my weekends to road work. There were a ton of amazing road gigs ahead of me and I needed all of them. The classes, hectic travel and lack of sleep were kicking my butt, but I felt like my old self and a new and better person all wrapped into one. But make no mistake, it was grueling and there were times I didn't know if I'd make it through successfully.

We end the episode with where we are currently as I type this sentence: three weeks into my spring semester of my sophomore year. I talk about the classes I'm taking and the work and challenges ahead. Next week I'll go back to the regular podcast and still talk about school stuff obviously because this is the new normal for the next four semesters. Thanks for your support you guys. Getting on an early wake up schedule, commuting with 9-5 ers uptown and accomplishing a mountain of things before 10am was wild.

Later that school year, a bunch of work fell through on the road so I also started walking dogs part time to keep things together. It was an intense and humbling spring semester.

Never knew I had test anziety until my first quiz in Arabic class. I've been managing it, but still struggling with it.

Also, I talk about the start of the Oct. 7th protests on campus and how they felt throughout the semester. My experience was obviously much different than the students new to the city and college, but it gave me perspective and inspiration and hope for the future.
