    Otago University’s just released a survey which shows New Zealand suicides have a higher alcohol involvement that the rest of the world - 26% of suicide deaths involve acute alcohol use compared to the World Health Organization global estimate of 19%

    Professor Doug Sellman, the director of the National Addiction Centre, has been tracking the country’s consumption for more than 2 decades. He joins us with more.
