  • The Rotation is a podcast intended to explore topics for preceptor development, student interests, and all things related to experiential learning. A lot of our episodes will appear to be pharmacy specific. However, there are themes with in our conversations that can be applied to other experiential programs.

    In this episode, you will hear a recent talk I had with one of our standout preceptors- Cassie Shields. This was part of our monthly zoom call with pharmacist preceptors. Cassie Shields is currently the Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor at Salina Family Healthcare and Smoky Hill Family Medicine. 

    During our conversation, you will hear Dr. Shields touch on ideas regarding setting expectations, communication, and integrating students into her practice.
