Andrew Paul Cannon: Thoughts

Auteur(s): Christoa Ministries
  • Résumé

  • This podcast is the result of my (Andrew Cannon) thought life. There is no particular goal, and my thoughts come from things I see on social media and read in Scripture. My goal is to approach life in a way that is more meaningful and seeks to be less cynical toward others. I value critical thought and speak from a biblical worldview.

  • Calvinism Pt. 2- Total Depravity vs Free Will
    Oct 16 2023

When we say we don't believe people have free will, it is a particular response to the Arminian definition of Free Will. We do not mean that people don't have the ability to make decisions and follow through with those decisions. We do mean that people have been cut off from the Tree of Life and lack the ability to reach out, take the fruit, and eat. Christ must hand us the fruit from His tree.

  • What is Calvinism and Why Should We Be Worried?
    Sep 21 2023

I have been asked to cover the topic of Calvinism today. This is the first of a six-episode look at Calvinism and its alternatives. Please listen respectfully. My intent is not to convert anyone to or away from any self-designated category. It is to bring us closer to Christ as we consider who He is and what He is doing.
