Pete did nothing, work has been super stressful and it's been cold. But he did get a bunch of his “hard” admin tasks done.

Dan put in some work in the shop making it more optimized, cleaned up some laser fume extraction, replaced his CNC spoilboards, and shipped some insert samples to Bill over at WTB woodworking to try in his store.

Braden printed a giant version of Pete’s head, wrapping up a set of night stands, and got some work done on the kitchen island.

I know we all wait too long to empty our dust collectors, but how often do you boys clean your saw blades?

Do you clean them all at the same time? Table saw, miter saw, Radial arm saws, track saw? Or do you wait until the cut is so bad, that you screw up a whole project?

Also, do you set a recurring day for shop maintenance including saw blade cleaning, dust collection emptying, putting new duct tape on tools to hold them together, cleaning laser mirrors, etcetera?

I made a cutting board for a friend years ago when I was much more of a noob woodworker. They showed me recently that one part of the cutting board had mold on it, so they bleached it based on some crappy advice they found on the internet.
Have you ever had a cutting board that you built get mold on it after heavy usage? This thing is probably 3 years old and she loves it and wants me to salvage it but it’s just going to be replaced at this point.

Dan made his employee work on New Year's Day....Evil, right?! He also batched out a bunch of C tables, and has to make a record player stand. Also, some guy named Lane gave Dan gout.

Last time I was speaking with my wife about an idea for a lamp, like a big bedside lamp I wanted to make and sell of course. I asked her should I add a hidden drawer, because why not ? And she asked if I studied the market for this kind of product. It made me wonder, do you study the market before selling an item ? I've been catching up on some of your older episodes and Dan mentioned he had a lot of interest in building a flip top cart. I was wondering if any of you have ever built one and whether or not they stood the test of time.

Personally, I think they are an awesome idea to save on space and build skill. But I can't imagine it's good for the tool, especially something heavy like a planer, to be left for gravity to take its toll.
